“On Earth as it is in Heaven”

1. Pray for Humble and Repentant Hearts: Pray that the body of Christ will set aside all pride and arrogance, sin and encumbrance, and press into God
   
   

   “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:14-15

   
   

   “But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” ‭‭James‬ ‭4:6‬

   
   

   “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭22:27-28‬ ‭‬‬‬‬

   
   
   • That a spirit of humility would be released globally over the body of Christ and that believers would walk humbly before our God (Micah 6:8; James 4:8, Jer 29:13)
   • That believers around the world would seek the face of God, His kingdom, and His righteousness (Matt 6:33; 2 Chronicles 7:14)
   • That our idols will be torn down and we will truly turn away from every form of idolatry including the love of money, greed, pride, indifference, racism, all forms of sexual immorality and the murdering of our children for the sake of convenience (Zech 13:2, Prov 28:13, Mark 7:21-23)
   • That an attitude of praying without ceasing would spread throughout the body of Christ as we press into a greater intimacy with God (1 Thes 5:17; Matt 6:33)
   
   
2. Pray for the Healing and Restoration of the Nations: Pray that God, in His grace and mercy, will bring health and healing to our lands
   
   

   ”“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:7‬
   
   “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.” John 10:10
   
   “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
   
   

   • That God will be attentive to our nations, that His ears will hear and His eyes will see the prayer offered in our nations (2 Chron 7:15)
   • That the nations will throw off all false religion, idolatry and tradition that inhibits any from wholeheartedly worshipping God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)
   • That the Lord will give the nations a heart to know, honor, love, obey and trust Him like never before (Jer 24:7)
   • That the windows of heaven would be open and abundant life would be evident as our nations are healed and restored (Deut 28:12; Luke 6:38)
   
   
3. Pray for the Global Outpouring of the Holy Spirit: Pray that the activity of the Holy Spirit will be evident throughout the world to the glory of God
   
   

   “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭‬‬‬‬
   
   “When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.” ‭‭John‬ ‭16:8-11‬‬‬‬

   
   

   “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” ‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:28-29‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

   
   
   • That the Holy Spirit would bring the body of Christ to a deeper knowledge of the truth, power, and authority of God’s Word (John 14:26)
   • That the Holy Spirit would be released globally to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement, leading all to repent and turn to God (John 16:8)
   • That those who have suffered loss or hardship would be comforted by the Holy Spirit (John 14:26)
   • That the willingness and conviction of believers to lay their lives down for the sake of Jesus Christ will be strengthened worldwide through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit (Luke 9:23-24; 1 Cor 6:11)
   
   
4. Pray for Worldwide Revival: Pray that there would be newfound interest and excitement about the Lord Jesus Christ with a desire for knowing Him and making Him known
   
   

   “And their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. And they said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:31-32
   
   “So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. And everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.” Acts 2:41-43
   
   “And Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: the BLIND RECEIVE SIGHT and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the POOR HAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO THEM. “And blessed is he who keeps from stumbling over Me.” Matthew 11:3-4
   
   

   • That the body of Christ recognizes the undeniable presence of God in our midst, and that God is recognizable to the world through signs and wonders (Mark 16:17-18)
   • That the power of God breaks out all over the world, that multitudes are saved, healed, set free, and that thousands and millions are added to the body of Christ and discipled (Acts 2:41-47)
   • That there will be a deep awakening and the hearts of believers will be set on fire for Christ around the world (Luke 24:31-32; Eph 5:14)
   • That the passionate love for Jesus Christ would be rekindled in the hearts and minds of believers around the world, as we love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31)
   
   
5. Pray for the Advancement of the Kingdom of God Worldwide: Pray that believers will rise up in their God-given authority to work for God’s Kingdom to be strengthened and expanded around the world.

   
   “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8
   
   “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt 28:19-20
   
   “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. “And these signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it shall not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:15-18
   
   “And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. “Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you. “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” Luke 10:18-20

   
   
   • That the body of Christ will rise up together in their God-given commission, power and authority to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples of all nations (Matt 28:19-20)
   • That believers will stand in the authority Jesus has given for the protection and flourishing of their families, ministries, cities and nations, producing lasting Kingdom fruit for generations to come (Mark 11:22-25, Mark 16:17-18)
   • That believers will be sent out with the authority of Christ to heal the sick (including those with COVID-19), raise the dead, cleanse the unclean and break off demonic strongholds (Luke 10:8, 19-20, Matt 21:19)
   • That the authority of God’s word will be re-established in the heart of the believers anew causing the manifested will of God to break forth around the world (Heb 4:12, 2 Tim 3:16)
